“What surprised me was the amount of work I was able to get involved in at such an early stage. A couple of lads I see at college said that they haven’t got involved nearly as much as me. This is my first year so I’ll spend 20 weeks at college. But I’ve had quite a bit of practice on-site already and had the chance to move around to different sites during my time on the scheme. I really enjoy the work. It’s great when you get a good group of people on a site.”
